Muscle Mary is a character developed by artist Jake Wood through a continuation of work from a recent residency with Home Live Art.  

Wood, now brings Muscle Mary to the Electric Medway festival through projection and live performance interventions. Inspired by the theme ‘Augmented River’ wood created an immersive experience, by bringing his current research on bodybuilding queerness to the digital, and the river as a catalyst for meditation and slapstick performative actions.
